Kids were in groups of 8-10 with 2 leaders who worked with them each Wednesday on homework, building self confidence, and learning about God.

Community Cupboard

Our community cupboard is located at the rear entrance of the church. Look for the tan cabinet. Take what you need. Leave what you can.

We also participate in food drives for the Ravenna Center of Hope.

Apostle Build Habitat for Humanity

Our church was part of an Apostles Build for Habitat for Humanity of Portage County in 2019 and 2020. We helped to raise money for and helped build a home for a family in Atwater, Ohio. Please considering volunteering for this wonderful cause!

Christmas Store

The Christmas Store is a great example of the community gathering together to help those families who need help at Christmas. Parents can come "shop" for presents in the store of donated items and wrap the presents before they go. Donate to the store, pick a family to sponsor, or volunteer at the event.

Community Pet Parade

Bring your pets BIG or small to our Pet Parade. There are competitions in 10 categories and prizes, and many local rescue agencies in attendance. Each pet entered gets a certificate and a goody bag. Each winner and Grand prize winner gets a trophy. Categories include things like cutest pet, best tricks, most tricks, cutest smile, most exotic pet, etc.  Following the judging will be a pet parade and a blessing of the pets. The proceeds go to the Children's and Youth Ministry. This is open to everyone!
